When I visited Japan I fell in love with the Sakura the famous cherry blossom that springs into life at the signs of spring. The first cherry blossom is the start of what is known as the Sakura festival. This festival also known as Hanami Matsuri is the start of a new period in Japanese culture. Altough Japan is world famous for the picknicks under the blossom trees we do not have to be in Japan to see the blossom. I took the photo’s below in Eext a small town in Drenthe and Amstelveen.
